  • This year marked the third straight year that UH played back-to-back non-conference road games on the same trip. UH lost the second leg of the road trip for the third straight year (lost to UNLV in 2009; lost to Colorado in 2010).
 
  • UH dropped to 62-75-3 all-time vs. current members of the Mountain West Conference, including a 13-8 mark against UNLV.
 
  • UH fell to 5-6 all-time in Las Vegas.
 
  • UH and UNLV will be future conference foes when Hawai‘i joins the Mountain West beginning in 2012.
 
  • After surrendering three sacks and eight tackles-for-losses, UH produced just six yards rushing, the lowest total since posting -7 yards in a loss at Louisiana Tech in 2009.
 
  • Sophomore receiver Justin Clapp made his first career start in place of an injured Miah Ostrowski and responded with nine receptions for 83 yards, while also scoring his first two career touchdowns on receptions of 10 and 24 yards.
 
  • Junior Levi Legay made his first career start in place of an injured Sean Shigematsu at right tackle.
 
  • Billy Ray Stutzmann tallied a career high nine receptions for 136 yards.
 
  • Tim Cornett’s 80-yard touchdown run was the longest run by a UH opponent since Fresno State’s Lonyae Miller rushed for an 80-yard touchdown in 2008.
 
  • Aaron Brown recorded his first sack of the season in the first quarter.
 
  • Art Laurel posted first career sack in the second quarter
 
  • John Hardy-Tuliau recorded his first career interception with a pick of Caleb Herring in the fourth quarter.
