-Hawai‘i ended a season-long three-game losing streak with its win over Tulane
- UH now needs to win its final game against BYU next Saturday to become bowl eligible for the 11th time and to secure a berth into the Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl for the seventh time.
-The win was the program’s 13
th consecutive regular season home win vs. non-AQ conference teams dating back to 2004.
- Sophomore David Graves made his first career start at quarterback and finished with 260 yards passing, including two touchdowns and two interceptions in three quarters of action. Graves also rushed 57 yards and a score.
-UH scored a touchdown on its opening drive of the game for just the second time this season (also vs. UC Davis).
- UH has had 11 different offensive starting lineups in 12 games this season.
-Freshman running back Joey Iosefa scored a pair of rushing touchdowns in the win. It was the third time this year that Iosefa scored multiple touchdowns in a game (at San Jose State, vs. New Mexico State).
-Sophomore John Hardy Tulia recorded his fourth blocked kick of the season on a 40-yard field goal attempt at the end of the first half. The four blocked kicks are the most by a Warrior since Sean Butts recorded four in 2001. UH’s five blocks are its most since 2004.
-Freshman wide receiver Trevor Davis scored his first career touchdown on a 17-yard reception from David Graves on UH’s opening drive. Davis scored again on a 12-yard reception in the third quarter.
-Aaron Brown recorded his third interception of the season and sixth of his career with a third-quarter pick of Orleans Darkwa.
-Jamar Thomas’ 66-yard kickoff return in the second quarter was the longest by a UH opponent this year. UH entered the game ranked fifth in the NCAA, allowing just 17.3 yards per return.
-Senior cornerback Tank Hopkins recorded his first career interception with a third quarter interception.
-Jeremiah Ostrowksi’s 32-yard reception in the second quarter was the longest of his career.
