Hawai‘i Post-Game Notes
-It was the first time the Spartans have defeated the Warriors in San Jose since 1997, snapping a five-game UH win streak in the series. The previous two games played at Spartan Stadium in the series went to overtime, which UH won both times, while the last four meetings in San Jose have been decided by seven points  or less, which UH had previously won each game.

-UH has won 11 of its last 13 WAC games dating back to 2009 (only loss at Boise State in 2010).

-Moniz threw for over 300 yards for the 19th time in his career. He has now passed for 9,317 yards with 70 touchdowns and 29 interceptions. Moniz’s 74-yard rush in the third quarter marked his career-high. His previous best was a 57-yard run against Colorado (9/3/11).

-Freshman running back Joey Iosefa scored a season-high two touchdowns--his first two rushing touchdowns of the season (2-yd, 32-yd). His only other touchdown came on a 22-yd pass reception against Colorado.
