UH finished the WAC season with a 7-1 mark and captured at least a share of the Western Athletic Conference title. It is UH’s fourth all-time WAC championship (1992, ’99, 2007, ’10).
 
Alex Green broke a 60-year record when he finished with 327 yards rushing. Green eclipsed the mark in less than three quarters of action. The old mark was 270 yards by Pete Wilson set in 1950 against Brigham Young
 
It was Green’s fourth career 100-yard game and third this season.
 
Green also surpassed 1,000 yards on the season. He is just the seventh Warrior to achieve that milestone and the first since Travis Sims in 1992.
 
Green scored for the fifth straight game and finished with three touchdown runs. He has 10 rushing touchdown in that five-game span and leads the team with 17 touchdowns (16 rushing, 1 receiving).
 
His 71 yard run in the second quarter was the longest of his career.
 
Green tied a school record with two rushes of 50 or more yards in a game and set a new school mark for average gain per rush (17.2 ypc, 19 carries).
 
Senior receiver Greg Salas surpassed Jason Rivers (3,919) as the school’s all-time leader in receiving yards with a 37-yard reception late in the first half.
 
Salas finished with 10 catches for 191 yards and a touchdown. It was his ninth 100-yard game of the season and 18th of his career. Salas now has 4,037 career yards at UH.
 
Salas has caught a pass in 39 straight games dating back to his sophomore season.
 
Placekicker Scott Enos converted all eight of his extra points setting a new school mark for consecutive PATs (92), surpassing the old mark of 91 by Jason Elam (1988-91). Enos also hold the record for consecutive PATs made in a season with 58.
 
UH improved to 7-0 against New Mexico State and has won by an average of 44.0 points per contest.
 
UH has scored 40 or more points in seven games this season, including six of its eight WAC contests.
 
UH finished the season 4-2 on road, including 3-1 in WAC road games.
 
UH improved to 16-2 during the month of November since the 2006 season.
 
Aaron Brown returned an interception for a touchdown for the second straight game with a 33-yard return in the fourth quarter. It was UH’s fourth defensive touchdown of the year.
 
Senior defensive end Kamalu Umu recorded his first career interception on the first series of the game.
 
UH has recorded at least two interceptions in nine straight games.
 
During its last nine games, the UH defense has forced 28 turnovers, including 20 interceptions.
 
Davon House’s 48-yard interception return for a touchdown in the third was his second score against UH in as many years. House took back an interception 58 yards in the Aggies’ loss last season.
