UH quarterback Bryant Moniz set a new school record with 560 passing yards, breaking the old record of 559 by Colt Brennan vs. Arizona State in the 2006 Hawai‘i Bowl. Moniz eclipsed the record on a 10-yard pass to Rodney Bradley with more than 11 minutes left in the game.

Moniz moved past Dan Robinson into third place all-time in school history with 6,330 passing yards. He also become just the fourth player in school history to pass for more than 6,000 career yards in his career, joining Robinson, Colt Brennan and Timmy Chang.

UH has scored 40 or more points in six games this season, including five of its seven WAC contests.

UH recorded a season high eight sacks, its highest total since registering 10 in a win over Idaho in 2004.

Aaron Brown picked off his first two career passes. He became the fourth player—joining Jeramy Bryant, Corey Parades and Mana Silva—to log multiple interceptions in a game this season.

UH has recorded at least two interceptions in eighth straight games.

Brown scored UH’s third defensive touchdown of the year with his 22-yard interception return in the second quarter. It was the first career interception for the junior linebacker.

Placekicker Scott Enos converted all five of his extra points and tied the school mark for consecutive PATs made in a season with 50 (Dan Kelly, 2007).

UH’s 98-yard drive in the second quarter, capped by Alex Green’s 3-yard run, was UH’s longest scoring drive of the year.

Green scored for the fourth straight game and has seven rushing touchdown in that span. He leads the team with 14 touchdowns (13 rushing, 1 receiving).

Greg Salas has caught a pass in 38 straight games dating back to his sophomore season.

Salas finished with eight catches for 144 yards and a touchdown. It was his eighth 100-yard game of the season and 17th of his career.

Senior Kealoha Pilares returned to the starting lineup after missing his first game of the season at Boise State on Nov. 6. Pilares finished with a team-high nine catches for 154 yards and touchdown for his fifth 100-yard game of the season.

The 39-yard reception by Royce Pollard in the first quarter was his longest scoring reception of his career.

UH lost the turnover battle for the first time this season (3-2).
