UH has won its last seven WAC games dating back to last season.
UH is 4-0 to start WAC play for only the third time in school history. The two other times were in 2007 (finished 8-0) and 1981 (started 5-0).
UH improved to 3-1 on the road this season.
UH is 5-1 vs. Utah State in league play and has scored at least 45 points in each victory.
Senior running back Alex Green enjoyed a career game with 172 yards and four touchdowns on 14 carries.
The last time a UH player scored four rushing touchdowns in a game was Glenn Freitas at UNLV in 1995.
Green’s 172 yards was the most since Calvin Melvin gained the same yardage versus BYU on Sept. 11, 1993.
It was the second career 100-yard game for Green, who gained 110 yards in a home win over the Aggies last year.
UH allowed just 181 totals yards of offense, the best defensive performance since 2005 after a 24-0 win at Idaho in which the Warriors allowed just 153 yards.
UH amassed 600+ yards for the second time this season (also 647 vs. Louisiana Tech).
Reigning WAC Player of the Week Corey Paredes recorded his first two career interceptions, both coming in the third quarter.
The UH defense has 12 interceptions in its last five games.
Greg Salas has caught a pass in 35 straight games dating back to his sophomore season.
Salas finished with nine catches for 158 yards and one touchdown for his sixth 100-yard game of the season and 14th of his career.
After going scoreless in the first three games, Salas has now scored eight touchdowns in the last five games.
Bryant Moniz, who passed for 389 yards, has thrown at least one touchdown pass in every game this season.
The UH defense has forced a punt on its opponents opening drive in the last seven games and have forced a 3-and-out in the opening series in each of the last five games.
UH’s 91-yard drive in the first quarter was the longest scoring drive of the season.
Rodney Bradley had a season-best 105 receiving yards on three catches, including a season-long 56 yard reception in the second quarter.
Senior offensive lineman Kainoa LaCount made his first career start in place of an injured Laupepa Letuli.
Senior Mana Lolotai made his first start of the season at linebacker.
