UH has won the last three meetings in Fresno and four of the last five.
UH evened the all-time series with Fresno State, 21-21-1.
Greg Salas has caught a pass in 33 straight games dating back to his sophomore season.
Salas finished with three scores and has scored multiple touchdowns in each of the last three games (seven touchdowns during that span).
Salas finished with nine catches for 148 yards for his fourth 100-yard game of the season and 13th of his career.
Senior cornerback Jeramy Bryant picked off two passes and returned one for a 48-yard score in the fourth quarter. It was UH’s first interception return for a touchdown since Ryan Mouton’s return at New Mexico State in 2008.
Bryant has recorded an interception in each of the last three games.
Senior Mana Silva also picked off a pass in the fourth quarter and has three interceptions in the last two games
Dustin Blount’s kick returns of 35 and 38 yard were the longest kick returns of the season for UH.
Senior kicker Scott Enos missed just his second field goal in 11 attempts this year when he was wide right on a 48-yard attempt in the fourth quarter.
The UH defense has not allowed an opening drive score in the last five games.
UH’s 90-yard drive in the third quarter was the longest scoring drive of the season.
Kealoha Pilares, who has a team-leading nine touchdowns, failed to find the endzone for the first time in six games this year.
Kevin Goessling’s 39-yard field goal in the second quarter was the first converted field goal by a UH opponent in six games this year. Army and Charleston Southern had missed field goal attempts of 37 and 48 yards, respectively.
Senior wideout Rodney Bradley returned to the starting lineup after missing the last game against Louisiana Tech.
