2005-06: Earned all-PCCSC honors as a skipper...sailed in ten events...competed in all three fall and all six spring women's events...also participated in the PCCSC Women's Singlehanded Championship (Oct. 21), finishing in fourth...placed in the top two in her division four times...helped UH win the Bryson Women's Intersectional (Oct. 1-2) ... guided the Rainbow Wahine to a second-place finish at the Rainbow Invite (Jan. 21-22) by claiming first in the B division... also contributed to the team's second-place finishes at both the PCCSC Fall and Spring Women's Championships...helped the Rainbow Wahine qualify for its eighth nationals appearance in the last nine years.

2004-05: Participant in 10 regattas...second-place finish at the PCIYRA Singlehanded qualifier...one of two Rainbow Wahine to qualify for the ICSA Singlehanded Nationals...finished ninth at the event...member of the ICSA Nationals team that finished eighth in team racing and second in the the dinghy event.

2003-2004: Participated in five regattas, highlighted by the PCIYRA women's championship...also a member of UH's women's team which placed fourth overall and second in the A division at the ICSA Nationals.

Prep: A 2003 graduate of Whangarei Girls school in Whangarei, New Zealand...lettered in sailing three consecutive seasons while also winning three consecutive championships...sailed under coach John Morgan.

Personal: Born Aug. 28, 1985, in Costa Rica...majoring in global environmental science...has one younger brother...parents are Darlene and Chris Buckley of Whangarei, New Zealand.
