2005 (Cross Country): Team’s top finisher in five of six meets...had two Top 10 finishes...placed seventh at the Chaminade Invitational (20:06)...season-best time of 19:30 at the UC Riverside Invitational...finished 40th at the WAC Championship (19:50).

2005 (Track): Ran personal-bests in the 800m and 1500m events...member of 4x800m relay team which posted second ranked time (9:02.42) in school history.

2004 (Cross Country): Participated at WAC Championship (19:54)...posted two Top 10 finishes in three events, including sixth at the Hawai‘i Pacific Invitational (23:55) and ninth at the UH Coed-Sprint Invitational (16:04).

2004 (Track): Set season and personal best in 800m at WAC Championship in Houston...also competed in 1500m (4:54.47) and 3000m (10:46.26) at UC San Diego Invitational...finished seventh in mile (5:28.39) at UH Sunrise Meet 4.

2003 (Cross Country): Competed at WAC Championship (20:46) and NCAA West Regionals (24:18)...also participated in Big Wave Invitational (16:14).

Prep: A 2003 graduate of McKinley High School in Honolulu…2003 Athlete of the Year…cross country Athlete of the Year in 2001…event specialty is middle distance running and cross country.

Personal: Born Dec. 22, 1984, in Osaka, Japan…has two older brothers, Desmond and Lawrence…parents are Hiroko and Robert Thain of Honolulu.
