HONOLULU — Twenty-five University of Hawai'i student-athletes earned 2025 Fall Academic All-Conference honors from the Big West in recognition of their efforts in the classroom. The fall sports sponsored by UH included in the list are cross country, soccer and women's volleyball.
The Rainbow Wahine soccer team produced 15 honorees, which was the highest total among conference's 11 women's soccer programs. Cross country featured seven honorees and women's volleyball had three.
To be eligible for the Big West Academic All-Conference team, student-athletes must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, complete one full year at the member institution prior to the season for which the award is being received (at least a sophomore academically) and competed in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
The Big West recognizes individuals academically per season – fall, winter, and spring – for all conference-sponsored sports. The Winter Academic All-Conference Team will honor men's and women's basketball and men's and women's swimming & diving student-athletes, with the Spring Academic All-Conference Team consisting of student-athletes from men's and women's golf, men's and women's track and field, women's water polo, men's and women's tennis, men's volleyball, beach volleyball, softball and baseball.
