TULSA, Okla.--University of Hawai'i men's tennis players Timothy Li and 65th-ranked Azuma Visaya will kick off the 2025-26 season competing in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) All-American Championships starting this Saturday, Sept. 20 at the University of Tulsa's Michael D. Case Tennis Center. This is the first NCAA Individual Championship qualifying event of the year. Li and Visaya will team up together starting in the doubles prequalifying rounds on Saturday, Sept. 20. In singles, Li will begin action in the prequalifying rounds on Saturday, Sept. 20. Visaya enters the Fall as the top ranked player in the Big West at No. 65 which gives him an automatic slot in the All-American main draw. The main draw rounds begin on Wednesday, Sept. 24th and runs through Sunday, Sept. 28th.

Li will be making his Rainbow Warrior debut. Li, a graduate transfer from UCLA, helped the Bruins advance to a pair of NCAA tournament appearances. He comes to UH after posting an 11-12 career singles record and a 23-30 career doubles record. Li, a native of Los Angeles, Calif., rejoins former Bruin teammate Visaya, who also transferred to Hawai'i last Fall.

Visaya started his UH career last fall with a bang. He played well in the Fall.events posting a 9-4 singles record which included wins over Washington's 108^th-ranked Cesar Bouchelaghem (7-6 (6), 6-4); and Pepperdine's No. 6 seed in the ITA Regional Maxi Homberg (7-6 (4), 6-3), Visaya advanced to the Round of 16 at the iTA Southwest Regionals and with doubles partner Quinn Snyder fell in the semifinals of the ITA Conference Masters Championships finishing a win short of advancing to the NCAA tournament. Visaya earned Big West Player of the Week honors three times last season, while earning all-Big West second team accolades in singles and a first team nod with doubles partner Snyder.
