TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced its 2025 All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes on Monday. The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team earned ITA All-Academic Team honors, while seven Rainbow Warriors—
Hunter Felte,
Angus Hill,
Tianhao Hou,
Conner Kurata,
Gervase Ngo,
Quinn Snyder, and
Sohta Urano all earned ITA All-Academic awards.
The Rainbow Warriors have been named an ITA All-Academic Team a total of nine times (2010, '12, '13, '14, '15. '19, '22, '23 and '25). Since 1983, the men's team has had 36 individual players earn a total of 55 ITA Scholar-Athlete honors. For Snyder, it marked the second time in his collegiate career to earn All-Academic honors after he earned the accolade as a freshman at UCF.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements: have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year, and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements: have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), all student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and all varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
