ROME, Ga.—University of Hawai'i men's tennis players Azuma Visaya and Quinn Snyder were voted by The Big West coaches to represent the league at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) Conference Masters Championships, Nov. 7-10 at the Rome Tennis Center in  Rome, Ga.. Visaya opens the singles Round of 32 against Andres Medus of UTA (Texas Arlington) at 4:00 a.m. HT. Visaya and Snyder have a bye in Thursday's first round, but will play the winner of Brice Patoux/David Wekesa of Grand Canyon and Alin Fatu/Marko Milosavljevic of Jacksonville State on Friday.

Visaya, a junior transfer from UCLA, has been UH's top singles player posting an 8-3 overall record this Fall. Most recently, he fell in a hard fought battle at the ITA Southwest regionals to UC Santa Barbara's 11^th-ranked Gianluca Brunkow in three sets ending in a third-set tie-breaker, 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (3).
 
The Hawai'i doubles team of Snyder and Visaya have a 5-2 record thus far together. Most notably, the duo advanced to the championship match of the UCSB Fall Classic.
 
The ITA Conference Masters Championships features the top players from each conference in singles and doubles. The top four singles players and the top three doubles teams will advance to NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships which for the first time will be played in the Fall and not the Spring.
