HONOLULU — University of Hawai'i Athletics and 'Ahahui Koa Ānuenue is proud to announce the return of the Green and White Celebration presented by ESPN Honolulu and Kyo-ya Hotels and Resorts, to be held on Saturday, March 25, at the Royal Hawaiian Resort Waikiki. The highlight of the fundraising event is to recognize the five new inductees into the UH Sports Circle of Honor – Nani Cockett (Women's Basketball), Bobby Curran (Radio Broadcaster), David Matlin (Administrator), Bobbie Perry (Women's Volleyball), and Katie Spieler (Beach Volleyball).
The Circle of Honor recognizes individuals and teams who have contributed to the growth, history and tradition of UH Athletics. This will be the 39th Class to be inducted into the Circle.
The Celebration will also recognize the Class of 2021 inductees – Colt Brennan (Football), Amber Kaufman (Track & Field Women's Volleyball), Robert Kekaula (TV/Radio Broadcaster), and Edwin Wong (Philanthropist). Additionally, the inaugural Green and White Honors for Outstanding Achievement will be presented to Ms. Nancy Wo, who led the volunteer planning committee for the year-long Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Title IX in 2022.
