HONOLULU — A group of 34 current and former University of Hawai'i student-athletes celebrated a milestone in their collegiate journeys by participating in the 2023 Mid-Year Commencement Exercise on Dec. 16 at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
 
The list of student-athletes who took part in the graduation ceremony includes representatives from five men's and coed programs and six women's programs. Football led the way with 12 graduates followed by track and field (nine), women's soccer (three), baseball (two), women's swimming and diving (2), and beach volleyball, men's and women's golf, sailing, women's tennis and men's volleyball with one each.
