LAS VEGAS, Nev.--The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team won its third-straight match to even its record at 3-3 on Saturday afternoon. The Rainbow Warriors defeated Weber State (2-2), 4-1 at UNLV's Fertitta Tennis Complex. All three of UH's wins have come on the road in Las Vegas, Nev. 

For the second-straight match, UH started off by capturing the doubles point. Hawai'i's No. 3 duo of Axel Labrunie and Kilian Maitre led off with a 6-12 win over WSU's Jordan Coutinho and William Zulch, 6-2. They were quickly followed by UH's No. 1 duo of Andre Ilagan and Karl Collins who earned the point with a 6-2 win over Tristan Sarap and Sebastian Buxman.

Hawai'i got its first singles point by default with Andy Hernandez getting the point as the Wildcats' Jack Lin bowed out. Weber State's Zulich then cut their deficit in half, defeating Hawai'i's Vojtch Vlkovsky, who was making his Rainbow Warrior debut after transferring from the University of Parudice in the Czech Republic, 6-3, 6-1. The 'Bows then recorded the next two victories as No. 4 Guillaume Tattevin and No. 5 Lucas Labrunie both posted straight-set wins. Tattevin knocked off Jordan Coutinho, 6-3, 6-1, while L. Labrunie coasted past WSU's Matteo Savio, 6-2, 6-0. 

The Rainbow Warriors will conclude their swing through Las Vegas with one final match against former Western Athletic Conference rival, New Mexico State on Sunday, Jan. 29 at 8:00 a.m. HT.
