HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i athletics department is hosting "Wahine on the Rise – Field Day" this Saturday, September 10 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletic Complex.
 
The event is free to the public and keiki can participate in interactive activities with players and coaches from all of the Rainbow Wahine teams (except for women's volleyball) during the event. There will be food and beverage options available, DJ music plus great FREE giveaways (while supplies last _—including t-shirts, mouth guards (courtesy of Hawai'i Dental Service), Coca-Cola products AND tickets to the Rainbow Wahine volleyball match against Southern California later that evening.
 
"Wahine on the Rise" events this year celebrate the 50^th anniversary not only of Title IX but also the 50^th anniversary of Rainbow Wahine athletics.
