HONOLULU – University of Hawai'i Athletics Director David Matlin announced the reassignment of Lois Manin from Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Services to Associate Athletics Director for Internal Operations.
In her new role, she will serve as Deputy AD and will continue in her capacity as Senior Woman Administrator. Her responsibilities will include but not be limited to the oversight of human resources, business operations, legal affairs, and facilities and events management.
"With this reassignment, Lois will have overseen just about every area of the athletics department," Matlin said. "She is not only qualified for the position, but she possesses the qualities that will make her and our department successful. Her experience as deputy manager of Aloha Stadium and countless years within the athletics department, many of those in leadership roles, make this is a natural fit and I'm excited for what she'll bring to the position."
Manin has nearly 25 years of experience in two stints at UH Athletics, including 12 as Media Relations Director, one as Director of Football Operations, and the last five as Matlin's Chief of Staff and Associate AD. In between, she spent nearly nine years as deputy manager at Aloha Stadium. She also currently serves as chair of the Senior Women Administrators in the Big West Conference while also serving on the Conference's Executive Committee.
A search for her replacement will begin immediately.
