EUGENE, Ore. – University of Hawai'i men's golfer
Kotaro Murata carded rounds of 72 and 75 and is tied for 21
stplace after the first two rounds of the Duck Invitational Monday at the Eugene Country Club.
After 12 holes of his opening round, Murata was 2-under and near the top of the leaderboard. But the Japan native finished 3-over on his last six holes to wrap up a 1-over 73 round. A birdie on his opening hole of Round 2 got him back to even par but a tough stretch in which he bogeyed five of six holes derailed his round.
