'Bows Kitchen presented by Safeway, is a new University of Hawai'i Athletics Department video series featuring coaches, staff, and student-athletes making their favorite recipes in their own kitchen.
This week's episode features a pair of UH student-athletes - swimmer
John Clark and track athlete
Teuila Gardner - preparing a local-style meal of shoyu chopped steak, fried rice, and Okinawan sweet potato.
Clark of Whakatane, New Zealand, completed his sophomore season in 2019-20 while Gardner, of Honolulu, set a school record in the 600-meters and was part of the 1600-meter relay team that also set a new program mark in 2020.
