#Remember2010: Rebroadcast of 2010 Hawai‘i-Nevada Football Game

HONOLULU – The #Remember2010 summer series continues this week with a rebroadcast of the University of Hawai'i football team's upset of nationally ranked Nevada in 2010. The rebroadcast will air on Hawai'i Athletics' Facebook page (Facebook.com/HawaiiAthletics), Thursday, July 2 at 6:00 p.m., with a pre-game show airing at 5:50 p.m.

The condensed version of the game, which was originally played on Oct. 16, 2010 at Aloha Stadium, will begin with a pre-game show featuring quarterback Bryant Moniz and wide receiver Greg Salas. The game will include in-game commentary from those two along with defensive stars linebacker Corey Paredes and safety Mana Silva as well as fun facts throughout the broadcast.

Paredes had arguably the play of the 2010 season, forcing a fumble on Nevada quarterback Colin Kaepernick at the goal line while Silva's interception in the closing minutes sealed UH's 27-21 victory. Moniz threw for 293 yards and three touchdowns while Salas finished with 11 catches for 151 yards.

Fans who miss the live stream may still watch it on Hawai'i Athletics Facebook page at a later time. Those watching it live are encouraged to engage with other fans in the comments section.

The win over Nevada occurred during a 10-win season in 2010 in which the Rainbow Warriors' finished in a three-way tie for the Western Athletic Conference title along with UN and Boise State. UH handed Nevada their only loss of the season as the Wolf Pack, who entered the game with a 6-0 mark, finished with a 13-1 record and No. 11 final national ranking.
