For the third time in five years, University of Hawai'i men's golfers
Justin Arcano and
Justin Ngan have qualified for the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship after winning Tuesday's local qualifier.
The pair shot 4-under 67 to capture medalist honors at The Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course. The "Justins" also qualified for the Four-Ball Championship in 2017 and 2019. The championship will be held May 22-26 at Chambers Bay.
UH freshman Isaiah Kanno and his partner Peter Jung finished runner-up, three strokes back, and are the first alternate.
Arcano and Ngan missed the cut in their two previous appearances at the Four-Ball Championship. In 2019, the pair shot 3-under 138 and missed the cut by three strokes.
