The successful University of Hawai'i men's volleyball program has generated dozens of professional players, including 12 current and former Rainbow Warriors who represented their national teams this past summer in various international tournaments.
Along with the student-athletes who played at the international level this summer, Hawai'i associate coach
Milan Zarkovic was the head coach for the USA team at the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru.
Two incoming freshmen also participated for their respective national teams. Guilherme Voss Messias Dos Santos competed for Brazil in the FIVB U21 World Championship in Bahrain, helping the Brazilians to a third place finish. Voss, who competed at middle blocker, had a team-high 13 points, including seven blocks in that third place match. Dimitris Mouchlias has been part of the national team for Greece and this summer was a member of the U21 squad that finished runner-up in the CEV Silver European League.
Keeping up with your favorite Warriors can be tough, so below is a list of the 12 student-athletes, the national team they represent, the years they were at Hawai'i and the tournaments they competed in, along with some statistics.
