BREMERTON, Wash. – Inclement weather forced the cancellation of the final round of the Husky Invitational, Tuesday at the Gold Mountain's Olympic Course. After 36 holes on Monday, the University of Hawai'i men's golf team completed the tournament in 14
thplace with a 603 total.
Freshman
Kotaro Murata was UH's top finisher at 3-over 147 which tied for 38
thplace.
In addition, the Olympic College Invitational held in Port Orchard, Wash., was also cancelled. That tournament featured four individual UH golfers including senior
Nick Nelson who tied for third place at even par 144.
The Rainbow Warriors will next compete in the Alister MacKenzie Invitational, Oct. 7-8 in Fairfax, Calif.
