HONOLULU – University of Hawai'i Athletics and ESPN Honolulu have signed a five-year agreement to extend ESPN Honolulu's current contract through the 2023-24 athletics season.

"Our partnership with ESPN Honolulu is one of the most comprehensive radio partnerships in the country," said UH Athletics Director David Matlin. "We believe it's breadth and quality of coverage is second to none."

"Our team at ESPN HONOLULU is excited to continue our partnership with the University of Hawai'i," said Matt Apana, the company's General Manager. "We look forward to enhancing our relationship and supporting the University and its student athletes. We also look forward to enhancing the UH fan experience, and will continue to develop engagement with our local sports communities through the various multi-media elements that we have at ESPN HONOLULU."

ESPN Honolulu (92.7 FM and 1420 AM) is owned and operated by Blow Up LLC, a locally owned company. In addition to UH sports, the ESPN Radio affiliate also broadcasts major championship events such as the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals, and NCAA and HHSAA title games.
