INDIAN WELLS, Calif.—The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team (7-12, 1-4 Big West) enters the 2018 Big West Conference Tournament as the No. 6 seed. The Rainbow Warriors will take on No. 3 UC Irvine in the first round on Thursday, April 25 at 9:00 a.m.  at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
 
Three Rainbow Warriors are looking to break through at the tournament after suffering some heartbreaking losses to close out the regular season. But at 7-12, it is the most wins that UH has recorded since the 2014 season. Hawai'i is led by three Rainbow Warriors who have notched 11 singles wins apiece. Rookie Andre Ilagan has played the majority of the matches on the No. 1 court. He has an 11-7 overall record while going 9-7 at No. 1 in dual matches. UH's No. 2 Lucas Labrunie has posted an 11-10 overall record and 10-9 in dual matches, while Blaz Seric, UH's No. 3, has gone 11-7 in dual matches. Seric has been UH's hottest player, winning eight of his last nine decisions.
 
In doubles, UH's most successful team has been on the No. 1 court with Ilagan and Labrunie combining for a 7-6 overall record. Together they are 5-5 in dual matches.
