LIHU'E, KAUA'I – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team completed the final round of the 43
rdJohn A. Burns Intercollegiate Saturday in 20
thplace with a 911 total at the Wailua Golf Course.
The Rainbow Warriors carded a final round 311. No. 11 Arizona State captured its first Burns title with a 840 total, three strokes clear of runner-up Texas A&M (843), who was seeking its third koa trophy. Second-ranked Duke was third at 845 followed by North Carolina (846) and UNLV (851).
BYU's Peter Kuest shot a final round 68 and took home the medalist trophy with a 10-under 206 total. Texas A&M's Walker Lee was runner-up at 9-under. Two-time defending champion Chandler Phillips of Texas A&M finished in a tie for 22
ndplace, seven strokes back.
Competing as an individual, UH junior
Nick Nelson posted the best score among the nine Rainbow Warriors on the day. The Honolulu native posted three birdies for a round of 1-under 71. He finished the tournament with a 9-over 225 total and tie for 82
ndplace.
Senior
Cameron Kaneko shot a final round 76 and also finished at 225. Sophomore
Justin Ngan carded a 3-over 75 for a 227 total and tie for 87
th. One stroke behind him was sophomore
Justin Arcano, who posted 81 and tied for 91
st. Kaua'i-native
Bryden Salvador completed his final Burns Intercollegiate with a tie for 99
that 231. Sophomore
Cole Yoshida carded an 83 for a 236 total and 110
thplace.

The Rainbow Warriors will next compete in the Grand Canyon Invitational, March 15-16 in Phoenix, Ariz.
