HONOLULU – University of Hawai'i Athletics will hold a Downtown Rally, Friday, July 20 on the corners of Bishop and South King streets to kickoff the 2018-19 athletics season. Head football coach
Nick Rolovich and other UH coaches and student-athletes will be on hand along with the UH pep band and cheer squad.
Fans may enter to win prize drawings and participate in a variety of games. UH football and women's volleyball season tickets will also be on sale as well as tickets to the Pigskin Pigout, the annual football fundraiser hosted by Murphy's Bar & Grill on August 9.

Football fall camp opens Friday, July 27 with women's volleyball and women's soccer set to begin practices in early August.
The 2018 football schedule features seven home games beginning with non-conference match-ups versus Navy (Sept. 1), Rice (Sept. 8), and Duquesne (Sept. 22) followed by Mountain West contests against Wyoming (Oct. 6), Nevada (Oct. 20), Utah State (Nov. 3), and UNLV (Nov. 17).
Women's volleyball hosts an 18-match home schedule, including UCLA, Coastal Carolina, Oregon, and defending Big West champion Cal Poly, all of whom advanced to last year's NCAA Tournament. UH hosts two tournaments this season – Rainbow Wahine Classic (Aug. 24-26) and Rainbow Wahine Volleyball Challenge (Sept. 6-9).
