KAANAPALI, Maui – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team moved up to 16
thplace following a 291 in Round 2 of the Kā'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational Saturday at the Royal Kā'anapali Course.
The Rainbow Warriors were led by senior
Cameron Kaneko's 1-under 71, which included an eagle on the par-5 No. 9 hole and three birdies. The Huntington Beach, Calif., native is currently tied for 30
that even par 142.
No 26 California (541) moved atop the leaderboard with a second round 275 and holds a three-stroke lead over No. 27 North Florida (266). South Carolina and Georgia are tied for third at 550.
North Florida's Andrew Alligood matched Friday's low round of the day with an 8-under 63 and is atop the individual leaderboard at 10-under 132, one stroke clear of a group of four golfers.
Sophomore
Justin Ngan carded an even par 71 and is tied for 61
stat 2-over 144. Sophomore
Justin Arcano posted a 73 for a 145 total and is tied for 72
nd. Sophomore
