Game Storylines:
- Saturday's game is designated as "Military Night" and will feature a special halftime performance by the Army's 25th Infantry Division "Tropical Lightning" as well as military-themed game day activities.
- This year's game marks the 50th meeting between the schools. Fresno State is UH's longest-standing rival. The teams have met every season since 1992 when both were members of the Western Athletic Conference.
- UH seeks its first home win against the Bulldogs since 2007. FS has won the last four games at Aloha Stadium, including two contests that were decided by five points or less (24-21 in 2011 and 42-37 in 2013).
- Since 2000, a team has scored at least 40 points in nine of 17 meetings. Last season's 14-13 Hawai'i win was the first time in the series a team failed to reach 20 points since 1973. It was also the lowest total points in a game in the series since a 20-0 Fresno State win in 1996.
- UH running back Diocemy Saint Juste needs one more carry to tie Michael Carter's single-season rushing attempts mark of 221 set in 1991. He also needs 254 yards to become the single-season rushing leader (1,498 yards by Travis Sims in 1992).
- UH has lost six of its last seven games, failing to score more than 23 points in each of those losses. In contrast, UH has scored at least 37 points in each of its three wins this season.
- Under Nick Rolovich, UH is 2-5 in MW home games.
