KA'ANAPALI, Maui – The Hawai'i men's golf team finished the second round of the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic Invitational with a round of 307 from the Green team and a 303 from the Black team in windy conditions on Saturday. The 54-hole tournament concludes Sunday at the Royal Ka'anapali Golf Course.
Bryden Salavador led all UH players with an even-par 71 on Saturday to lead the Black team. He is tied for 74 in tournament individually at 6-over 148 overall. Freshman
Justin Arcano is leading UH and t-34
th individually at even-par for the tournament after shooting 73 on Saturday. Junior
Cameron Kaneko also shot 73 on Saturday, and is t-52
nd overall at 3-over.
The UH Green team is t-18 in the team competition at 593, while the Black team is in 21
st place at 606 after back-to-back 303s.
Louisiana State leads the team competition at 543 overall after shooting 275 on Saturday, tied for the lowest team score of the day. California is in second at 546, followed by South Carolina at 547 and Kansas at 552. The Jayhawks matched LSU's 275 team score on Saturday.
California's Collin Morikawa leads the tournament at 10-under 132. He followed up Friday's 64 with a 68 in windy conditions on Saturday. Kansas' Andy Spencer shot the low round of the day, a 65, and moved up 18 spots into a tie for second at 9-under overall. South Carolina's Scott Stevens is also at 9-under overall.
