BOISE, Idaho – A strong second half from the Hawai'i women's basketball team wasn't enough to overcome cold shooting in the first, as the Rainbow Wahine lost 61-49 at Boise State on Tuesday evening.

Julissa Tago hit from deep to open the game, giving Hawai'i its only lead of the contest at 3-0. Boise State, which entered the game averaging nine 3-pointers per game and shooting 40 percent from 3-point range, hit just 7-of-26 (27 percent) of its 3-point attempts in the game.
