KA'ANAPALI, Maui – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team fired a final round 287 – its best of the tournament – at the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational Sunday at the Royal Ka'anapali Course.
The Rainbow Warriors tied for 19
th place with an 878 total. No. 24 Clemson moved up three places to capture the team title after a final round 264 for a 26-under par 826, one stroke better than No. 15 Georgia (827). Rounding out the top five were No. 13 LSU (828), No. 7 Oklahoma (834), and No. 39 South Carolina (840).
Individually, Clemson's Doc Redman carded a final round 7-under 64 to capture medalist honors at 15-under 198, two strokes ahead of LSU's Sam Burns, who fired a 9-under 62.
UH sophomore
Sam Schwartz led the Rainbow Warriors on Sunday with a 2-under 69 to finish in a tie for 88
th place at 223. Hawai'i's top finishers were senior

Cameron Kaneko (70), who tied for 50
th place at 4-over 217.

Pono Tokioka shot 76 on Sunday for a 224 total and tie for 97
th while freshman
Trevor Hirata closed out his tournament with a 73 and 231 total to tie for 115
th.
