Zhane Santiago won both the 60-meter and the 60-meter hurdles in personal best times.
In the 60m, three sprinters ran personal bests, all of which were among the school's all-time Top 10 List. Santiago won the event with a time of 7.85s (2
nd best all-time),
Desiree Winters placed second with a time of 7.91s (No. 6) and
Rachel Toliver was third in 7.93s (No. 9).
Santiago won her second event in the 60mH with a time of 8.65s. Although a personal best in the outdoor event, her No. 2 ranking in the program's history remained the same behind school record holder Thalia Amanaskis (8.71s).
The Rainbow Wahine will next compete in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships, Feb. 27-28 in Seattle, Wash.
