Terry Albritton Memorial Final Results

Final Results

HONOLULU – Results from Saturday's Terry Albritton Memorial meet at the Clarance T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.

One week after she was forced to miss the Husky Classic and UW Indoor Open because her equipment was stolen the morning of the team's departure flight, Zhane Santiago won both the 60-meter and the 60-meter hurdles in personal best times.

In the 60m, three sprinters ran personal bests, all of which were among the school's all-time Top 10 List. Santiago won the event with a time of 7.85s (2nd best all-time), Desiree Winters placed second with a time of 7.91s (No. 6) and Rachel Toliver was third in 7.93s (No. 9).

Santiago won her second event in the 60mH with a time of 8.65s. Although a personal best in the outdoor event, her No. 2 ranking in the program's history remained the same behind school record holder Thalia Amanaskis (8.71s).

The Rainbow Wahine will next compete in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships, Feb. 27-28 in Seattle, Wash.
