UNLV added a run in the second and third innings, then put the game out of reach with five runs in the fifth inning. T.J. White (1 H, 1 R, 3 RBI) and Brandon Bayardi (2-3, 2 R) both tripled, with White's three-bagger driving home two runs for the big hit of the inning. VanMeetren hit an RBI-double for the final run of the inning and the game.

Kalei Hanawahine in the ninth with UH's first triple of the season.
Bryan Burgher was the final and most successful pitcher of the day for Hawai'i. He allowed just two hits in three scoreless innings of work.
