Complete WAC Release
DENVER – The 2011 academic all-WAC football, men's and women cross country, women's soccer, and women's volleyball teams were announced Tuesday by the Western Athletic Conference for the fall season. A total of 28 UH student-athletes were honored which included six cross country runners, nine football players, five women's soccer players, and eight women's volleyball players.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
In total, 289 student-athletes were named to the WAC All-Academic Team.
