HONOLULU – The No. 10 University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team hosts the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic this weekend at the Stan Sheriff Center.

UH opens the Classic on Thursday, Sept. 1 against No. 22 Ohio State at 7:00 p.m. They will then face No. 23 Long Beach State on Friday, Sept. 2, at 7:00 p.m. before the tournament finale vs. No. 12 UCLA on Sunday, Sept. 4, at 5:00 p.m. 

The 'Bows opened the season last weekend hosting the Chevron Rainbow Wahine Invitational where they went 3-0 en route to their fourth straight tournament title. Kanani Danielson, Brittany Hewitt, and Emily Hartong were named to the all-tournament team, with Danielson selected Most Outstanding Player.
