The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Warrior Marching Band is among 18 finalists for CBS's Hawaii Five-O Marching Band Mania contest. The winning band will receive $25,000 and have their video featured on CBS this fall.

 

Fans may view videos of each school's rendition of the Hawaii Five-O theme song and vote online for their favorite band. Fans may vote once per day through Oct. 4, 2010 at http://promotions.mardenkane.com/cbs/marchingbandmania/

 

Under the direction of Gwen Nakamura, the UH marching band regularly plays the Hawaii Five-O theme song at UH athletic events, including at football games when the team runs out of the tunnel prior to kickoff.

 

UH's video was filmed at the Warriors' season-opening game against USC at Aloha Stadium and features the Rainbow Dancers.
