LONG BEACH, Calif. - The University of Hawai`i coed team will be making its fifth straight trip to the Intercollegiate Sailing Association's Team Race National Championship after finishing second at the Pacific Coast Championship Team Race hosted by the University of Southern California.
Hawai`i completed the all-day event with a record of 9-4 in a 13-race series. Host USC was the only team to finish in front and qualifies for the ICSA Team Race Championship as well. The top two finishers of each PCC event earn a bid for the ICSA National Championship.

Bryan Lake. Also sailing for the coed team were junior

Rebecca Mabardy, junior 
Matthew Stine and sophomore 
Cassandra Harris.
	The team remains in California for the PCC Coed Fleet Racing qualifier held over the next two days, April 30-May 1.The ICSA Team Race Championship will be held in Austin, Texas from June 5-7, with the Coed Fleet Racing Championship held June 8-10. The University of Hawai`i coed team is currently ranked 20th in the nation by collegesailing.org.
