LOMPOC, Calif.-- The University of Hawaii men's golf team stand in a tie for 15th place after the first two rounds of the Bite/Pacific Coast Intercollegiate. Hawaii shot a first round 300 and hit 317 in the second round to total 617 through the first 36 holes at the 7,105-yard LaPurisima Golf Course.
Leading the way for the Warriors is freshman Pierre-Henri Soero who shot back-to-back two-over 74s in the first two rounds. Soero, a native Noumea, New Caldonia, stands in a tie for 21st on the individual leader board.  Senior golfer Matt Kodama got off to slow as he shot a four-over 76 in round one and a 14-over 86 in the second. Also participating for the Warriors are senior James Beston (155, +11), freshman Cody Wolfenbarger (160, +16), and junior Manarii Gauthier (164, +20).
 	UC Davis and California State- Northridge each had two-round totals of 581 and are tied for the lead. Northridge's Pete Sisich leads the 94-player field after he shot a two-under 70 and three-under 69 in the first and second rounds, respectively.
 
The Bite/Pacific Coast Intercollegiate concludes tomorrow with the final 18 holes of play.
