HONOLULU - Tennessee's Monica Abbott tossed a perfect game en route to a 2-0 victory over host Hawaii in the 8th Hawaii Paradise Classic at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium.

Abbott (4-0) fanned 13 and faced all 21 batters with the final out coming on a diving play by UT shortstop Danielle Arriaga on a blooper to the hole. UH batters only left the infield twice in fair territory coming on fly outs by Denise Dahlberg in the fifth and Justina Kahaku in the sixth.

UT (4-1) picked up both runs in the second inning as Lauren Mattox led off with a single and came home on a two-run blast to right by Amber Rhinehart off UH starter Melissa Coogan (2-1).

UH falls to 2-2 in the tournament while Tennessee improves to 4-1.
