Fresh off a 52-37 win over Utah State, the University of Hawai'i football team remained No. 16 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 rankings and slipped one spot to No. 16 in the USA Today Coaches poll released on Sunday.

The Warriors are one of six teams with a perfect 6-0 record this season and sit atop the WAC standings with a 3-0 mark. Hawai'i extended its WAC win streak to 10 following Saturday's victory.

UH will next face San Jose State, winners of its last three games, on Friday in a nationally televised game on ESPN. The Spartans (3-3, 2-0) are tied for second in the WAC with Fresno State (3-2, 2-0). Kickoff is 5:05 p.m. PDT/2:05 p.m. HST at Spartan Stadium.

UH is 6-0 for just the second time since becoming an NCAA Division I member in 1974. The 1981 squad started 7-0 en route to a 9-2 mark. Since moving to an all-collegiate schedule in 1966, the program's best start was 8-0 in 1973.
