Kari Ambrozich joined the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa Athletics Department in August 1997.
In 2011, Ambrozich became an Academic Advisor for Student-Athlete Academic Services (SAAS), a department under the division of Student Success, and earned tenure as a Specialist Faculty in 2016. Like other academic advisors at SAAS, Ambrozich provides academic advising as well holistic and comprehensive programming to support the development of all student-athletes.
Ambrozich previously worked as an assistant/associate women’s volleyball coach for UH from 1997-2011. In addition, Ambrozich played for the Rainbow Wahine volleyball team from 1991-94, earning her Bachelor’s in Business Administration in International Business in spring of 1996. Ambrozich has also earned a Master’s in Educational Administration.
Ambrozich, who is married to former Rainbow Warrior basketball player Eric Ambrozich and have have a son Trey, live in Kane‘ohe, O‘ahu.
