Vince Baldemor, Ed.D. serves as the Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs. In his role, he is responsible for strategic partner development, marketing/advertising, brand management, ticket office, media relations, digital media, the Learfield/IMG partnership, Ahahui Koa Anuenue, Coaches Car program, and the Letterwinners Club. In addition, he has oversight for Softball, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Cheerleading, and Band/Dancers.
Prior to UH Athletics, Baldemor served as Executive Director of Hawaii Pacific University (2014-18) and President of Ahahui Koa Anuenue (2003-2014).
Baldemor is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of America (NACDA) and National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA). He was on the Division II Athletics Directors Association (D2ADA), the NCAA Committee on Women’s Athletics and was a graduate of the NCAA Ethnic Minority Leadership Institute.
In addition, he is an active participant in community relations, currently serves on the board of the City and County of Honolulu Grants-in-Aid Commission, Filipino Community Center, Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic, Superhero Academy, Maui Hui Malama and Susannah Wesley Community Center. He is a past board member of the US Tennis Association Hawai‘i Pacific Region, the NFL Pro Bowl Host Committee, and Palama Settlement.
Before making his way to the islands, Baldemor earned a bachelor of science in commerce from DePaul University, where he was a letterman in tennis. In addition, he earned his master’s of business administration from the University of Notre Dame and a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Southern California.
Baldemor is married, and with his wife, Lisa Anne Baldemor, has three children
