  • Title
    Assistant Coach
Jordon Twohig joined the Hawai‘i baseball coaching staff as an assistant coach in July 2025.

“What a steal for UH Baseball! Jordon is a college baseball veteran with stops at great programs with phenomenal coaches,” said head coach Rich Hill. “He has a superpower of human connection and will recruit and develop our guys to be the best versions of themselves on and off the field.”

Twohig will bring 20 years of coaching experience to the Rainbow Warriors at stops up-and-down the West Coast and across the country during his coaching career. He brings a pedigree of being able to recruit and develop talent at a number of positions, coaching or recruiting 56 players who have been taken in the MLB Draft, including 11 that have reached the big leagues.

“My family and I are incredibly honored to be asked by Coach Hill to join the Hawaii baseball family," Twohig said. “This is a proud program with a rich tradition, and I am excited to hit the recruiting trail with that message and Hawai‘i on my chest. I'm grateful to Coach Hill for believing in me and trusting me to help shape the future of this program."

Twohig arrives in Manoa after spending two seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Charleston Southern from 2023-24. While with the Buccaneers, he landed the program’s first-ever top-100 recruiting class, marking the 10th time Twohig helped land a top-100 class as part of a Division I staff.

Prior to Charleston Southern, Twohig spent three seasons as the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Saint Mary’s from 2020-22. During his time with the Gaels, Twohig was in charge of the offense while leading recruiting efforts and serving as the team’s third base coach.

Twohig spent the six seasons prior to that as the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at CSUN from 2014-19. In his stint with the Matadors he also served as hitting coach and outfield coach, and helped lead the program to its winningest four-year span ever from 2014-17 over which CSUN won 120 games.

Before taking the job at CSUN, Twohig spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Washington from 2011-13 under former UH assistant Lindsay Meggs. He coached third base and worked with the outfielders while assisting with recruiting efforts during his time on the Husky staff, with 10 players from his recruiting classes being selected in the MLB Draft.

Twohig spent three seasons prior to that as a head coach at the JUCO ranks, leading Ohlone College from 2008-10. He led Ohlone to a California state championship in 2010 and earned ABCA Pacific Division National Coach of the Year honors, finishing that season ranked third nationally in the Perfect Game junior college rankings. Twohig finished his three-year run as head coach with a record of 94-43 with a pair of regional championships and a Coast Conference Coach of the Year honor in 2009.

A 2003 graduate and two-year captain as a player at York College in Nebraska, Twohig got his coaching start at Feather River College in 2004 before spending two seasons as an assistant coach at Saint Mary’s from 2005-06 – his first of two stints with the Gaels.
