University of Hawai'i at Manoa Athletics

Brooke Maxson enters her first season as an assistant coach with the University of Hawai‘i women’s water polo staff. Maxson joins the Rainbow Wahine program for the 2026 season after spending the last two years on the coaching staff at UCLA, where she helped the Bruins capture the 2024 national championship. Following a decorated playing career with the Bruins, Maxson entered coaching in 2021 as an assistant with the water polo and swimming and diving programs at Golden West College. She returned to UCLA in 2024 and contributed to the Bruins' undefeated run to the NCAA title.

• UCLA went 46-6 in her two seasons on the coaching staff, which included an undefeated run to the 2024 national championship.
