Prep: A 2010 graduate of West Warwick High School in Rhode Island…lettered four years in outdoor track and field…lettered three years in cross country and indoor track and field…lettered one year in soccer…member of the 2007 junior varsity outdoor track and field conference championship team…member of the 2006 junior varsity cross country championship team…track and field team captured the 2010 indoor division championship…selected third-team all-state indoor track and field in 2010.

Personal: Born in Edwards AFB, Calif…intends to major in art…has one brother…parents are Ricky Hamada of Alexandria, Va., and Marion Hamada of West Warwick, R.I.
