Mareike Collier joins the University of Hawai‘i cross country and track and field team as the team manager this year, although she has been involved with the team for quite some time. Collier has been helping out with the program since her husband throws coach Garrett Collier accepted the position back in 2002. 

Collier graduated from the University of British Colombia in 2005 and is curently a nursing student at UH-Manoa. She works as both a tutor and mentor in the Nagatani Academic Center and enjoys reading and watching movies in her spare time.
