Dominique McLeggan-Brown is in her second year as a sprints volunteer coach for the Rainbow Wahine track and field program.
She began her collegiate track and field career at the United States Military Academy in West Point, N.Y., where she broke four school records and became a Patriot League champion.
She later transferred to the University of Florida, where she ran three seasons with the Gators, earning two All-America titles, and a number of all-Southeastern Conference and all-East Region honors.
Her specialties include the 200-meters, 400-meters, 4x100-relay, and 4x400-relay. She earned her master’s degree in business entrepreneurship at Florida in 2008.
