Annett Wichmann returns to the team as an assistant coach this year, after completing her athletic eligibility in the the spring. 

The most decorated athlete in the history of UH track and field, Wichmann brings with her a wealth of knowledge and will provide coaching assistance to head coach Carmyn James in the multi-events. 

While competing for UH, Wichmann garnered four All-American honors, was a WAC Champion in the pentathlon and heptathlon seven times, and overall scored more points at the WAC Championship level than any other athlete in the history of UH track and field. Wichmann holds records in the heptathlon, pentathlon and javelin events. 

Wichmann currently resides in Honolulu where she works as a physical therapist assistant and personal trainer. In her free time, she enjoys salsa dancing and paddling.
